GIU Day 5


Sadly today is my last day and I made the mistake of not adding my projects to the Unity Show & Tell FB Group.  Be sure to look at all 5 of my projects from this past 5 days and comment on each day in order to have the chance to win a prize pack from Unity.

  • I will never leave you stamp
  • Cardstock - white, black, blue
  • Shape cutter used to cut flowers
  • Tuxedo Black Ink
  • Coffee Bean Ink
  • Staedtler Colored Pencils
  • White Glitter Accents
  • Watercolor Markers
  • Waterpen

I loved this cheery little winter set.  I used watercolor paper and stamped on the image from KOTM Twinkle 1/18. Stamped "I Will Never Leave You" on white cardstock and matted with black.  I then colored them in with the colored pencils and markers.  I framed the pictures with cardstock.  I colored in the snow on the fence and trees with glitter glue and waited for it to dry so it would not smear.  Distressed the edges with Coffee Bean Ink and adhered all of them together.

    Great card, I have never used glitter glue for snow, just might have to give that a try.

    You had me at birdies! lol Hubby calls me a bird nerd ... I guess I'd have to agree. I look for them everywhere! You've made an adorable card with a sweet scene. Love the glitter snow (I use a few different methods for snow: stickles, cosmic shimmer luna paste, glitter glaze, etc). It always adds a very special touch. Thanks for a lovely week of inspiration.

Hello Unies!!! My projects today will be ATC cards. Artist Trading Cards for people to share their art.  I love to use Dylusions Ink Sprays and my other go to is Alcohol Inks for the backgrounds.  I like to use the Dylusions on watercolor paper and for the Alcohol Inks,  I use Tim Holtz Alcohol Paper.                                                       My first project is Quinn Girl by Angie Blom Watercolor Paper Dylusions Ink Spray Prima Flower Recollections Crafting Tape Washi Tape Staedtler Colored Pencils White Gelly Roll Pen Picked a background paper and stamped Quinn Girl in Memento Tuxedo Black Colored her in with Staedtler Colored Pencils Used the White Gelly Roll Pen for the dots Glued on the Prima Flower Added the Recollection tape My second project is A Beautiful Friendship Blue scrap paper Page from hymnal Staedtler Colored Pencils Simple but definitely would cheer up a friends day!!
